2. Fantasy Art for ages 11-17 — $210

Art camp for tweens and teens led by teachers with both professional and personal experience with making fantasy art.

In this camp, we will create worlds filled with magic, swords, dragons, elves and everything else fantasy. Fans of tabletop games and fantasy media of all artistic skill levels are welcomed.

Activities will feature a combination of worldbuilding exercises, sketching, and finished art pieces. Focus will be on character creation, storytelling, monsters and creatures, environments, and constructing scenes within fantasy worlds. There will also be time for discussion and enjoyment of fantasy media for inspiration.

Spunky Arts will provide instructors, supplies, and a great learning environment. Students bring curiosity, creativity, and a drive for improvement. Students can also bring tablets or other devices if they prefer to work digitally, but it is not required. 

4. Intermediate Drawing & Watercolor for — $210

Art camp for tweens and teens who are already interested in art and want to practice more over the summer.

This class will focus on life drawing and developing techniques in a relaxing and constructive environment with seasoned instructors and similar-minded peers.

Campers will learn how to incorporate light, form, color, and perspective into their own art. They will also be encouraged to experiment with different media, play with art techniques, and express themselves creatively.

Spunky Arts will provide drawing materials, instructors, and a great learning environment. Students bring curiosity, creativity, and a drive for improvement. Students are also welcome to bring their sketchbooks if they have them.

1. Week o’Workshops for ages 11-17 - $210

Explore, draw and create! 

This week we will learn and practice; 

  1. various drawing and illustration techniques

  2. discover and practice the various tools and media used to draw, ink, add color to drawings and illustrations

  3. apply these materials and techniques towards making and understanding popular visual media such as comics and animation.

3. Comics & Sequential Art Camp for Teens - $210

Tweens & teens summer art camp facilitated by artists and teachers. This intermediate-level drawing camp focuses on drawing from direct observation.

Students will learn how to depict form, light, and space, and become more confident drawing BIG, quickly, or without looking at their page. We'll cover techniques like blind contour, chiaroscuro, perspective, still-life, gesture, and more, adapting the curriculum to meet student's expectations, skills, and comfort levels.

Social and open creative time built in to each day. Our boutique camps are small and intentional around building social and emotional learning communities, while enjoying the individual process of creating.
